[While the city has been celebrating, Sheva's been having more trouble than usual managing the negative side effects from the lack of a proper bond with a witch. She's been far more irritable, exhausted, and on edge with every passing day, finding it increasingly difficult to find balance in herself.
She still has good days, mostly when she's with her bond and close friends, but given that her spine has chosen this month to also slowly grow and grind itself into an ever lengthening tail. Which, much to her bitterness, is neither cute, nor furry.
Regardless, Sheva tries to make the most of it when she can, and that's why her couch napping bond became festively decorated with tinsel, tiny magical lights, and a few delicately tied bows. The focus of all that having served to distract her from her own suffering quite well. In fact, she's just attempting to put what appears to be red, glowing pixie dust of some kind on his nose--the finishing touch--when a jolt of pain radiates up her spine and she accidentally jerks and draws a far more aggressive line of red over his face.]
