[There's a lot going on, but it's not like that sort of thing takes too much time out of the schedule. Other things have preoccupied her thus far, as nice as the distraction might feel.]
They say it's best to bond witch and monster, but we're partners... If anyone can make this work it's us.
Just one question.
If we're getting Harry Potter married, where to we register?
I know. I didn't mean uh Anyway. We can see what happens. We're trying to fit in, right?
[If that's what he's been trying he's been doing a terrible job of it. At least this time he has a somewhat positive attitude toward trying magical rituals.]
[Happy holidays Chris! You've always been protective of Aziraphale and very nice of him, and so he's found a jumper that made him think of you. With it comes a little note attached, telling him who the present is from and wishing him very happy holidays these days.]
[While the city has been celebrating, Sheva's been having more trouble than usual managing the negative side effects from the lack of a proper bond with a witch. She's been far more irritable, exhausted, and on edge with every passing day, finding it increasingly difficult to find balance in herself.
She still has good days, mostly when she's with her bond and close friends, but given that her spine has chosen this month to also slowly grow and grind itself into an ever lengthening tail. Which, much to her bitterness, is neither cute, nor furry.
Regardless, Sheva tries to make the most of it when she can, and that's why her couch napping bond became festively decorated with tinsel, tiny magical lights, and a few delicately tied bows. The focus of all that having served to distract her from her own suffering quite well. In fact, she's just attempting to put what appears to be red, glowing pixie dust of some kind on his nose--the finishing touch--when a jolt of pain radiates up her spine and she accidentally jerks and draws a far more aggressive line of red over his face.]

I don't know if that's a good idea.

I've met several mirror folks who stressed their importance in balancing out the changes they're forcing on us.
[But...]
I don't trust any of the witches I know.

[Yes, he is teasing her, but fondly.]
It's supposed to balance us out, huh? I guess... It might not be a bad idea to try. What were you thinking?

[But yes, there are quite a few attractive people in this place.]
That's what they say.
You're the only one I really trust here.

[He's not entirely convinced, but for now it doesn't seem like something to pursue.]
If you want to do it, then we're doing it together. You know I'm not going to leave you to test that weird ritual stuff out on your own.
If it doesn't work, at least we'll both find out.

Not sure if the locals will like it, though.
[Which might be even more reason to try it.]
They'll probably make us sign some magic book. 'Though I'm pretty sure the monsters never get married in those things.

[There's a fondness to her teasing, mostly because she suspects he doesn't mean it quite like that. Still, she can't help but needle him about it.]
The locals can deal with it.
Not when the books are written by the victors and here that probably means those who practice magic.
